Join us on December 14th, 3 PM-4 PM, as we visit the Fredericksburg Health & Rehab Nursing Home at 3900 Plank Road. Volunteers from Zion and the community come together to fellowship with senior residents. We sing a few songs, have a conversation, pray, share an encouraging word, and serve Communion. 

Free Distribution of 3-4 grocery bags to the community. Zion is a partner agency of the Fredericksburg Food Bank and receives food via this relationship. Volunteers from Zion and the community come together throughout the year to ensure food is available to families.  Distribution occurs on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 5:30 PM. Volunteers are asked to be at the church by 4:45 PM to prepare. 

Zion and the community come together to serve dinner to residents of the Garden Inn extended-stay hotel in Four Mile Fork. This is an excellent time to encourage, pray, and fellowship with those in our community who are enduring difficult times. A volunteer team assembles and serves the meals with a smile, and a 2nd team welcomes the recipients and offers to pray with them as they leave. Volunteers are asked to arrive on December 15th at 5:15 PM to help with setup.

Per the announced schedule, join volunteers from Zion and the community as we prepare either lunch or dinner at the Thurman Brisben Center, located at 471 Central Road
, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401. The next opportunity is December 17th, 10 AM, as we partner with Vision Community Church to prepare and serve lunch.

Join Zion and six other local ministries as we partner with Silver Companies, Walmart & Aldi for the 3rd consecutive year to provide toys for hundreds of youth throughout the region. The toy shopping spree for roughly 300 registered youth is scheduled for December 22nd, 5:30 PM-8:30 PM. Volunteers will serve in various capacities (check-in, shopping assistance, providing transportation, vehicle assistance, prayer, and encouragement). 

Join Zion as our women and men provide volunteer support on 4th Sundays from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM at Micah's cold-weather shelters in the Fredericksburg area for women and men. For more information, contact Pastor Gary.
